I feel like i should be doing something special to mark my arrival at blogspot. Maybe i should introduce myself. Better yet, introduce yourself.

In two days, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day. I still don't know whether to coform or not and join the "festivities" too. On one hand, I think it's kind of lame that you give flowers or gifts or whatever to your loved one/s just because it's what everyone else is doing. On the other hand, it is kind of nice to receive flowers and shit (what? I'm a girl -- I'm supposed to like them). I think I'd rather that people give me little gifts on days I least expect them to. Although I wouldn't refuse anything given to me

I don't have classes tomorrow because my professor won't be meeting us. Yey! Even though I know it will come back to me three-fold, like added hw's and probably a make-up class or two, I'm still happy. It's days like these that I love being a student, because you can't really say you won't have work if your boss doesn't show up.

Next to Christmas, Valentine's is the most commercialized "holiday" for me. Why? Tomorrow, me and my sorority sisters will be selling flowers, chocolates, cakes, etc in anticipation of Valentine's. Yeah, we're going to take advantage of all those lovers in our school.
But hey, we're not the only sorority doing that. And it's for a good cause -- ours
